Spaghetti absorbents are very useful for complementing either of the two booms and rapidly collecting hydrocarbons using the power of DPOL® Classic or HD.
The absorbents should be inserted into the HD net where they will capture hydrocarbons drawn in by the current generated by the DPOL®.
Once the pollution is removed, the spaghetti are easily recovered and disposed of properly. The HD net can be reused after cleaning with hot water.
Tests conducted at CEDRE® on the DPOL® demonstrated higher effectiveness of spaghetti absorbents compared to standard absorbent sheets.
